Position Summary
ACBA is seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-School Ballet Teacher to lead engaging and developmentally appropriate ballet classes for young dancers. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and fun environment that fosters a love of movement and dance while building foundational skills in ballet.
Key Responsibilities
- Class Instruction: Teach ballet classes for preschool-aged children, incorporating creativity, music, and movement.
- Child Development: Implement age-appropriate teaching techniques that support motor skills, coordination, and rhythm.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
- Communication: Engage with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and class activities.
- Lesson Planning: Develop fun and engaging lesson plans aligned with ACBA’s preschool ballet curriculum.
- Studio Support: Assist with recitals, special events, and outreach programs as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance to young children (ages 3-5) preferred.
- Background in ballet and/or dance.
- Ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young children.
