Camp Leader
Job Summary:
As a Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and enriching experience for campers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. You will have the opportunity to foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers can learn, grow, and make lasting memories.
Duties:
- Lead daily camp activities and ensure all participants are engaged and supervised.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that align with the camp's goals.
- Collaborate with staff members to create a safe and nurturing environment for campers.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to address any challenges that may arise.
- Foster positive relationships with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Organize and oversee outdoor excursions, sports activities, arts and crafts sessions, and other recreational programs.
- Ensure all campers follow safety guidelines during all activities.
Skills:
- Experience working with children or students in educational settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to educate and engage campers in various activities such as theater, sports coaching, or arts and crafts.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Passion for working with children and promoting their social-emotional development.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
