Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and monitor budgets.
- Analyze financial performance against forecasts.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Coordinate daily operations, such as accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
- Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Management:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Process Improvement:
- Streamline accounting processes for efficiency.
- Implement new financial systems or software as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
