Outside Sales Representative
We are looking for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth by generating leads and selling our services to new accounts. In this role, you'll be a key player in expanding our reach while delivering the high-quality service our clients have come to expect. This is a commission only position with an aggressive 80/20 split. Anchorpoint has access to majority of the trucking insurance markets which will help you be competitive and close new deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Our Services: Clearly explain Anchorpoint’s core offerings and the benefits of partnering with us.
- Daily Outreach: Make daily calls to trucking companies and carriers, offering tailored coverage solutions.
- Rate Shopping & Packaging: Source competitive rates from multiple insurance companies, compile necessary information, screen accounts for market suitability, and collaborate with underwriters and finance partners to craft attractive insurance packages.
- Expert Policy Selection: Use your professional judgment to identify the best policies for both potential and existing clients.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a sales plan designed to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Collaborative Lead Management: Work closely with other branch locations to ensure leads are appropriately distributed and followed up.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service.
- Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative team player who excels at multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities.
- Experience in the insurance or transportation industry is a plus.
- A Texas Insurance Agent License (General lines – property and casualty (InsTX-PC06) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and related computer applications.
