What You’ll Do
As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, building lasting relationships, and meet sales goals. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they receive expert guidance when selecting fine jewelry for life’s most cherished moments.
Key Responsibilities
• Luxury Client Experience – Create a warm, welcoming, and sophisticated environment, offering highly personalized service to each client.
• Sales & Relationship Building – Develop a robust client book, cultivate repeat business, and consistently exceed sales goals.
• Product Knowledge & Consultation – Expertly present diamonds, fine gemstones, and precious metals, offering tailored recommendations.
• Team Collaboration – Work closely with fellow sales professionals to ensure a seamless and elevated shopping experience.
• Operational & Presentation Excellence – Maintain impeccable store and merchandise presentation in alignment with luxury retail standards.
• Brand Representation – Serve as an Ancona Jewelers Brand Ambassador, upholding our reputation for integrity, hospitality, and craftsmanship.
What We’re Looking For
• 3-5 years of fine jewelry sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and cultivating repeat business.
• Expert Sales & Consultation Skills – proven track record in mastering the art of selling, from engagement (active listening and understanding needs) through closing sales (guiding clients seamlessly through the purchasing journey to a completed sale.)
• Product Knowledge – in-depth understanding of diamonds, colored gemstones, metal types, jewelry styles, timepieces and emerging trends.
• Engagement Ring Expertise – ability to perform a complete diamond and engagement ring presentation, including the ability to educate clients on diamonds and engagement ring setting options.
• Relationship Building – proven ability to cultivate long-term client relationships, providing memorable experience, and driving loyalty and repeat business.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
• Preferred: AGS & GIA Certifications or a background in diamond and gemstone education.
