Job Overview
We are a high volume family owned Doggy Daycare & Grooming facility seeking a dedicated and passionate Upfront Rufferee & Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. While acting in the Upfront Rufferee role, you will be responsible for customer service, checking dogs in and out of daycare/grooming, answering calls/texts, safely getting all dogs in and out of building. When acting in the daycare role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will play a crucial role in ensuring that every dog receives the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs in play areas to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including play areas, yard, and water bowls.
- Provide food and water to dogs according to their specific dietary needs.
- Administer basic first aid or medication as needed, following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with managers regarding their dog's behavior, health, and any concerns.

- Keep accurate records of each dog's activities, feeding schedules, and any incidents that occur during the day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred; experience as a veterinary technician or doggy daycare attendant is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, training techniques, and animal restraint methods.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Physical stamina to lift 30 lbs, break up dog fights, stand for 4 hours etc
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Familiar with Gingr system is a plus.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
