Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, landscape installation, and groundskeeping. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our clients' properties are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, and edging lawns.
- Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Irrigate gardens and landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth.
- Build garden beds and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to design specifications.
- Install mulch and rock as needed in landscaping.
- Dig trenches for irrigation or planting purposes using hand tools.
- Operate various hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with landscape installation techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and garden care practices is beneficial.
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively is essential.
- Experience in groundskeeping or snow plowing will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
