Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting due diligence and technical research
- Assisting with project scheduling and task monitoring
- Supporting the development of engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Contributing to the preparation of detailed engineering plans and technical reports
- Coordinating with regulatory and permitting agencies
- Ensuring design work complies with applicable codes and standards
- Providing technical support during construction phases
- Securing internal approvals for completed work
- Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in public infrastructure and utility design
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or eligible to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks collaboratively
