What You'll Do:
- Will work closely with key players across the organization and assist them with the financial reporting process.
- Will learn all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Will be a subject matter expert and key driver on our internal accounting & business systems.
- Work with senior leadership to drive strategic financial decisions and improve operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required
- 2-3 yrs corporate accounting experience a plus, not required
- A combination of self-awareness, resourcefulness and resilient confidence.
- An initiative-taker comfortable with independently performing financial analysis and planning to drive discussions with management.
- Possess a drive within to be a key player In the long-term company's growth initiatives through sound financial planning and analysis.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels in the organization.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
