What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at CapstoneONE Search?
A rapidly expanding and growing alternative energy manufacturing organization is actively seeking a Controller for their team. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance while overseeing the plant accounting and finance group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of annual budget
- Coordinate the quarterly and year-end audit with the external auditors
- Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
- Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes
- Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances and maximize the return on any excess cash balances
- Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
- Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Accurate and timely production of all financial information
- Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5 years of accounting and finance experience in progressive roles.
- 3 years of leadership/managerial experience within manufacturing.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
