Position Overview

Our industrial company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join our finance/accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant financial data and insights.
Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPA certification is a plus.
