What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Owned Sales Director position at Anderson Automotive Group, Inc.?
Anderson Automotive - Honda in Hunt Valley / Buick-GMC in Hunt Valley / Buick-GMC in Abingdon, is seeking a dynamic pre-owned sales professional to help take our dealerships to the next level. We are looking for the right candidate to join our executive management team, reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, in a new (to us) role of Pre-Owned Sales Director.
In addition to a passion for the car business, successful candidates must have experience with used vehicle acquisition/disposition, used vehicle reconditioning/merchandising/pricing, used vehicle trend analysis, used vehicle inventory management, third-party listing site familiarity, deal desking experience, and sales management knowledge. The best candidates will bring an innovative approach to inventory acquisition, and a deep understanding of the value of a used car to the entire dealership. We are not looking for a departmental manager to work just inside their box. Anderson seeks to run our dealership as a cohesive team, and not a group of individual departmental silos. "Old school" managers and your antiquated thought processes need not apply.
Pay plan (commensurate with experience) will be tied to all front-end gross, including New and F&I, PLUS Internal Reconditioning Labor and Parts Sales.
This is a new position for our group, so the right candidate will help us build out the role and define your job description.
