Anderson Health Services is seeking an innovative Youth Mental Health Therapist who can help youth take ownership of their treatment. We're looking for someone who can provide age- and developmentally- appropriate counseling that keep youth engaged. Caseload is 8-10 youth, ages 9-12. The position will provide individual and group therapy sessions to help youth heal from their traumatic experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide developmentally appropriate therapy to youth and adolescents.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of individualized treatment plans for youth.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including Nursing and Case Management.
- Display competence and responsiveness to cultural differences.
MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year experience in adolescent or child mental health.
All eligible candidates must have one of the following licenses in North Carolina.
- LCMHC or LCMHC-A
- LCSW or LCSW-A
- LMFT or LMFT-A
