Description
The Day Habilitation Supervisor has the responsibility for the day to day operations of the LifeLong Learning Center site. The Day Habilitation Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all areas are safe, clean, nurturing, and meet the service needs of the participants. The Day Habilitation Supervisor oversees team room programming including lesson planning, instruction, assessment, behavior plan implementation and functional skill system implementation. The Day Habilitation Supervisor provides supervision to the Day Habilitation Instructors and Day Habilitation Specialists to ensure all Life Plan services are delivered and documented contemporaneously. The Day Habilitation Supervisor helps maintain ethics compatible with our mission.

To actively further the agencys mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor ensures optimal staffing is maintained based on the participants.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor ensures all Life Plan goals and supports are delivered and documented contemporaneously as per each individuals Day Habilitation Staff Action Plan.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor oversees curriculum implementation in the LifeLong Learning Center facilities and in community programming.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor oversees curriculum implementation in the LifeLong Learning Center facilities and in community programming. The Day Habilitation Supervisor provides administrative guidance and supervision, and oversees professional development for the Day Hab Instructors and Day Hab Specialists.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor ensures proper and efficient record keeping and documentation.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor ensures consistent application and integrity of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework across all team rooms.
- The Day Habilitation Supervisor is responsible for the physical and aesthetic upkeep and maintenance of the LifeLong Learning Center sites and ensures a safe and healthy learning and working environment
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in human services preferred or a combination of education and experience to perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Must maintain qualifications in the crisis intervention procedure of the agency.
- Must be capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention of the agency.
- Must be capable at all times of assisting occupants in the orderly evacuation of the facility, by both primary and secondary paths in the event of fire or other emergency.
