Summary:
The Program Specialist is responsible for implementing the Organic Outcomes garden program in the LifeLong Learning Centers, Anderson Education Center, and the Anderson Early Learning Academy. Implementation of the Organic Outcomes program includes facilitating classes, learning plan development, identifying teaching methodologies and data collection systems as necessary, as well as team member training. The Program Specialist collaborates with community partners to secure resources as needed and promotes any products created by the program. The Program Specialist interfaces with Operations team members, related services personnel, administrators, instructors, teachers and direct support professionals with regard to service recipient outcomes.

To actively further the agencys mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Senior Program Director, the Program Specialist is responsible for the development of the Organic Outcomes curriculum.
- The Program Specialist facilitates classes based on the Organic Outcomes curriculum.
- In collaboration with the Senior Program Director, LLLC Program Specialist, AEC Education Specialists, and AELA Behavior Analyst/Specialist the Program Specialist identifies opportunities for program growth and development, including community integration opportunities.
- The Program Specialist collaborates with the Operations Department to ensure that the gardens are maintained.
- The Program Specialist works directly with the Senior Program Director to ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in human services with sufficient knowledge and experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the position, including experience with gardening.
- Must obtain and maintain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Must be capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention of the agency.
- Must be capable at all times of assisting occupants in the orderly evacuation of the facility, by both primary and secondary paths in the event of fire or other emergency.
- Must obtain and maintain Agency Driver status.
- Weekly travel to various sites required.
