Job Description Summary :
The General Manager of Product Support oversees the Parts and Service operations for all of Anderson’s Pennsylvania locations : Bridgeville, Clarion, Clearfield, Somerset. Each location has a Product Support Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations by ensuring that customer needs are met, issues are resolved, and opportunities to profitably grow the business are pursued.
The General Manager sets targets, provides counsel on financial decisions, approves all staffing, and directs implementation of strategic initiatives. The General Manager of Product Support will closely work with the General Manager of Pennsylvania to coordinate Sales, Rental, Parts and Service functions to grow revenue, gross margin, market share while providing effective reliable service for our customers and ensuring that safety, responsiveness and professionalism are prioritized.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years management experience in Heavy Equipment, Auto distributor or manufacturer Service Department.
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with business concentration and / or military training are a plus.
- 5 years of work experience with P&L responsibility and achievement of profitable results.
- Proven track record in training, scheduling, and managing shop and field technicians.
- Strong technical competence in mechanical functions and specialized equipment repair.
- Experience needed in preventive maintenance concepts and structuring major overhaul projects.
- Experience in Parts inventory management a plus. Knowledge of sales and marketing, specifically as they apply to Parts and Service is also desirable.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to service operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary : $110,000
