AR/AP Manager

AR / AP Manager

• Manage AR / AP including invoicing, vendor/customer relationships, and cross-team collaboration
• Implement and maintain controls/procedures for accurate payables and receivables management.
• Pinpoint areas for process improvement and work with necessary teams for communication and implementation
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounts payable and aging accounts receivables
• Ensure compliance with 1) internal controls, 2) customer and vendor requirements, and 3) any relevant government regulations
• Reconciliation of payables and receivables and coordinate audit requests
• Approve and/or prepare weekly payment schedules and cash flow requirements
• Oversee month-end closing activities and reporting for AR and AP
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate employees for the AR and AP teams
• Complete AR and AP role tasks as needed (listed in AR / AP Responsibilities section)
• Other duties may be assigned when needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Effective leadership skills with the ability to align a team behind a common purpose
• Ability to perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and take feedback in stride
• Strong team player comfortable working closely with a small team
• Intermediate skill level in MS Office Suite
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Knowledge of GAAP
