What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Anderson Erickson Dairy?

- Strong organization skills- must be able to successfully multi-task.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment (preferred but not required).
- Experience in a unionized work environment (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be able to develop good working relationships with departmental stakeholders (Quality, Maintenance, Distribution, Administrative Personnel, Etc.) and production employees- relationships based upon respect, integrity, professionalism, honesty and competency.
- Basic computer skills- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiar with SQF standards.
- Must be able safely lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Prior experience with the enforcement of company policies and collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong familiarity with OSHA safety processes and requirements.
- Compensation based upon skills and experience.
