Field Supervisor / Working Foreman (Ohio Based)
Job Overview
The Field Supervisor / Working Foreman will oversee daily activity, personnel, and equipment at an active construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent leadership abilities, and the ability to effectively manage teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This individual must be willing to be a “boots on the ground” foreman, pitching in to help and working alongside the crew at all times.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
· Provide leadership and guidance to your assigned crew, as well as others onsite including subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to project timelines.
· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
· Manage material and equipment procurement, inventory, and usage to optimize resources and minimize waste.
· Train and mentor construction workers, emphasizing safety protocols and best practices.
· Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
· Willingness to labor and/or run equipment to ensure site deadlines and project progression are maintained.
· Enforce company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in construction management or related field preferred.
· Proven experience as a construction foreman or supervisor, with a track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
· In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge and previous experience with OSHA, construction, general maintenance, and safety knowledge.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and mitigating risks.
· Proficiency/ willingness to learn Microsoft Office suite and construction management software.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

Reports to:
