Our client has been in business for over 80 years, and due to a fresh NetSuite implementation and departmental changes they are looking to add a Controller to the team.

This is a high visibility role reporting directly into CEO of organization, full ownership of accounting department and an SME for their NetSuite instance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, utilizing NetSuite to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations, leveraging NetSuite's capabilities to streamline processes and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, and manage the integration of NetSuite with other manufacturing systems to optimize workflow and data synchronization.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience handling AP/AR/GL/Month End
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP
• Strong background working in a manufacturing organization ie. cost accounting
