Certified DOT Urine/Hair Collector Overview
As a Certified DOT Urine/Hair Collector, you will be responsible for conducting drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT regulations. You will ensure that all collections are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Certified DOT Urine/Hair Collector Schedule: This is a every Monday (approximately 2-3 hours) and every Wednesday (approximately 1-2 hours) schedule to start.
Certified DOT Urine/Hair Collector Duties
- Conduct urine and hair drug collections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure proper chain of custody is maintained throughout the collection process.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Provide clear instructions and support to clients during the collection process.
- Maintain a clean and organized collection environment.
- Stay up-to-date with DOT regulations and any changes in policies/procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring new collectors as needed.
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during the collection process professionally and discreetly.
Certified DOT Urine/Hair Collector Qualifications
- Certification as a DOT Urine/Hair Collector (required).
- Previous experience in drug and alcohol testing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and collection procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for on-call collections.
