Door & Hardware Installer

Permanent, 40 hour per week, full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work required, at our Main Office in Des Plaines

We are seeking a detail-oriented, positive person with construction industry experience to install doors / frames and security hardware for our commercial, institutional and industrial customers.

Responsibilities and Skills:

· Team player to install commercial wood doors; steel doors; frames, and door hardware

· Good people skills for contact with external and internal customers

· Must be a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills

Requirements:

· Basic hand and power tool knowledge a must, welding experience a plus

· Ability to troubleshoot hardware problems a must, basic locksmith skills a plus

· Must be at least 18, with an excellent driving record

· Must be able to obtain Permanent Employee Registration Card [P.E.R.C.] in Illinois

Anderson Lock is a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), with two locations and 100 employees.

Our Door Division includes a door and frame fabricating shop, warehouse, project managers and estimators. Since 1960, we’ve served the door security needs of the Chicago area. Thirty service trucks are dispatched daily. We sell and install locks, door hardware, doors and frames, and related supplies to contractors, and to commercial, institutional and government facilities throughout the Midwest.

• Door hanging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
