Consulting Sales Arborist

About the Role:

As a Consulting Sales Arborist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our tree care services to potential clients. You will be the face of our company, representing our brand and values to customers. Your main goal will be to increase sales and revenue by building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our team of arborists to ensure that our services meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations. Your success in this role will directly impact the growth and success of our company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Knowledge of tree care and arboriculture
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Write proposals and enter into agreements with clients
• Certification as an arborist or related field
• Experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Competent Computer Skills (MO Suite)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ)
• QAL License from California Department of Pesticide Regulation

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Meet with potential clients to assess their tree care needs and provide recommendations for services
• Prepare and present proposals to clients, outlining the scope of work and pricing
• Collaborate with our team of arborists to ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Recommend management options (pruning, removal, Plant Health Care) for care of their trees.
• Thorough knowledge of Plant Health Care Practices
• Create Tree Protection During Development plans.
• Follow up on-site recommendations.

Skills:

In this role, you will use your sales skills to build relationships with clients and close deals. You will also use your knowledge of tree care and arboriculture to provide expert recommendations to clients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis. Additionally, you will need to be highly organized and able to manage your time effectively to meet sales targets. Finally, you will need to be a team player, collaborating with our team of arborists to ensure that our services meet the needs of our clients.
