Life Enrichment Director
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Enrichment Director to join our senior living community at Andersonville Supportive Living. As the Life Enrichment Director, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating and implementing engaging programs and activities. You will work closely with our residents, families, and staff to ensure that their needs and preferences are met, and that they are provided with a safe and comfortable environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting
· Experience working with older adults, including those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
· Flexibility with schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
· Ability to work with integrity in all interactions
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in therapeutic recreation or a related field
· Experience in memory care programming
· Experience in supervising and training staff
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
· Plan and coordinate a variety of activities and events, including outings, games, crafts, and educational programs
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the life enrichment program is integrated with the overall care for each resident
· Ensure that all activities and events are conducted in a safe and respectful manner, and that all residents are treated with dignity and respect
Skills:
As the Life Enrichment Director, you will use your excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our residents, families, and staff. You will also use your creativity and problem-solving skills to develop and implement engaging programs and activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Your knowledge of long-term care, Alzheimer's disease, and other relevant topics will be essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. Additionally, your ability to work with integrity and treat all individuals with respect will be critical in maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
