Senior Living Community Life Enrichment Director:
The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for planning, directing, and carrying out a schedule of meaningful programs which reflect resident preferences for social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual desires.
Job Description:
- Assists with planning a comprehensive program that includes individual and group activities that meet the needs and interests of the residents.
- Performs duties in a professional manner in compliance with the facility and department policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment for all residents, following all Illinois Health Department regulations.
- Maintains quality daily attendance/ behavioral records.
- Posts monthly program calendars and maintains good communication with all departments.
- Assists with setting up and decorating for activities and special events.
- Attends and participates in facility staff meetings and in-service trainings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires a minimum of a high school education
- This position requires some evening and weekend hours; must be willing to be flexible on scheduled work hours.
- Candidate must be able to communicate written and verbal ideas in English.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
