What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at ANDON SPECIALTIES, INC.?
ANDON Specialties is a national leading manufacturer's representative/distributor of process automation, analytical, and fluid handling solutions. We are currently searching for an Inside Sales Representative to join our TEAM in Chesterfield, MO.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Improve transaction profitability by increasing sales volumes through crossing selling, and add-on sales.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and follow-up actions in salesforce.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and follow-up emails.
- Confirm all orders meet minimum standards prior to order entry.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to develop effective sales strategies
- Respond in a timely manner to all correspondence
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 1-2 years of inside sales experience, industrial preferred
- Industry experience in one, or more, of the following: petrochemical, oil & gas, life sciences, and/or semiconductor
