Are you passionate about talent development and eager to make a difference in the lives of high school students? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Talent Development Intern, where you'll play a key role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the 2025 Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp.
About the Camp : The Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp is designed to expose high school students to modern-day manufacturing. Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, students will gain valuable insights into the industry and explore potential career paths.
Internship Responsibilities : As a Talent Development Intern, you will assist with various aspects of the camp, including but not limited to :
- Outreach and Fundraising : Reach out to local businesses for scholarship donations to support our campers.
- Communication Management : Serve as the main point of contact and manage communication for all interns.
- Budgeting Activity : Create and facilitate the budgeting activity session for campers.
- Facilitator Support : Work with camp facilitators to ensure facilitator guides are updated.
- Logistics and Setup : Assist with logistics and setup for the camp, including catering, forms, reporting, coordination and purchasing of supplies, creating notebooks for campers and coaches, and purchasing gifts for judges and coaches.
- Coordination of Angel Investors : Reach out to and coordinate STIHL leadership to participate as angel investors for camp teams.
- Training : Attend a train-the-trainer session to prepare for your role.
