How You'll Help Us Connect The World
As a Senior Process Engineer – Wire & Cable, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvements in manufacturing, tool design, quality and materials
How You'll Make An Impact
- Generate and lead engineering projects in technology, cost and quality improvement to completion in a timely manner. Perform cost analysis and technical evaluation to support recommendations.
- Provide support in troubleshooting process issues and work with quality team on root cause analysis as they arise
- Provide training and mentoring other process engineers and technician located in our various manufacturing locations
- Work in conjunction with cross-functional team on cost savings initiatives, new product introduction, material development and second source projects
- Develop and ensure standardized procedure, documentation, tooling and process are maintained at our global manufacturing locations
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
- 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering with an emphasis on Wire & cable manufacturing
- Knowledge of extrusion and welding process and related equipment and tool design in wire and cable manufacturing process
- Experience in leading projects and working with internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendors
- Motivated, Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-saving and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodology
- Knowledge of SW, MS Projects
