Summary
As a Direct Support Professional at ADDS, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their daily living goals. Located in Franklin, Fairfield, and Delaware Counties, this position is crucial for fostering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Observe and document client progress and any changes in behavior or health status.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all clients.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Experience in direct support or related field preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
