About the Role
We are seeking an Overnight IT Technician to provide Level 1 support and Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring during the 10 PM to 6 AM shift. This position is responsible for handling after-hours client needs, proactively responding to alerts, and maintaining the health of our managed IT fleet.
This role is perfect for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Level 1 IT Support : Respond to client issues related to hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- NOC Monitoring : Actively monitor network and security alerts, generate appropriate actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ticket Management : Create, update, and resolve service tickets efficiently, ensuring proper documentation.
- Fleet Security Administration : Manage endpoint security tools and remote monitoring systems.
- Knowledge Base Maintenance : Update internal documentation related to alerts, resolutions, and best practices.
- Proactive System Maintenance : Assist with fleet-wide updates, patching, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Collaboration & Escalation : Work closely with the Managed Services team and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Process Improvement : Contribute to the development of NOC procedures and fleet management strategies.
- Miscellaneous Duties as Assigned.
