PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Provider Relations Consultant (PRC) is responsible for developing business partnerships and relationships with facilities, physicians, home care providers, and community agencies to grow referrals to Androscoggin’s home health and hospice lines of business. The PRC will use effective sales contacts, calls, and presentations to accomplish this objective, and will have overall responsibility for the development and growth of referrals in assigned service areas or geographic territories.
EDUCATION: Graduate of professional school of nursing with state and regional accreditation required; NLN accreditation required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.
- At least 3 years of experience in direct sales, case management or administrative nursing role, with a proven record of achieving incremental growth.
- Home health/hospice sales experience a plus.
