Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis, with a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavior changes and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Regularly review and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools, homes, and community environments.
Requirements
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
Experience in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis is essential.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards is necessary.
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Proficient in maintaining medical records accurately and efficiently.
