Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks.
Duties
- Accessing facility portals, to print patient face sheets and demographics.
- Organizing and alphabetizing patient accounts including preping printed accounts for coding.
- Follow set scheules for completion of tasks as they relate to Client's End of Month billing cycle.
- Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and HIPPA protocol.
- Communicate effectively with office staff
- Support the billing team with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry if needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency and familiarity with medical office systems, billing software, and Windows based programs.
- Experienced in accessing web based portals to access facility EMR.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Proficency in basic Excel Spreadsheets, email, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with office staff effectively.
- Ability to use basic office equiptment including fax, copiers and phone system.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
