Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounts payable, including verifying, coding, and processing a high volume of invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and monitor invoice aging to ensure timely payments.
- Manage and maintain positive vendor and supplier relationships.
- Reconcile credit card transactions and process expense reports.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Track and manage contractual obligations for compliance and payment scheduling.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Address internal and external inquiries regarding accounts payable matters.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and full-cycle accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and levels of management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in media, broadcasting, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with contract management and tracking.
