The Community Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Community team members with daily Supporter communications, game-day activations, event planning, and event execution. The Community Coordinator works collaboratively with multiple teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely sharing of relevant information with Supporter Groups (SGs) and to manage and disseminate meeting minutes and other updates internally. This individual is vital to maintaining and strengthening the relationships between Angel City FC,all Supporter Groups, and community partners.
This is a full-time hourly position, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Supporter Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and keep minutes for monthly meetings between SGs and club representatives.
- Attend in-person and virtual Supporter events put on by the club and SGs.
- Manage monthly updates for SGs on important club dates, initiatives, and events.
- Schedule and communicate with SGs regarding special opportunities, including but not limited to heritage celebrations and supporter events.
- Monitor SG's shared Slack and respond to questions as needed.
- Assist Sr. Manager, Supporter Relations with SG game day activations, including but limited to tifo practice and setup, early entrance, drum and flag transport and storage, distribution of water, escorting of special guests to capo stand and/or drum section, and managing Supporter requests and needs throughout the match.
- Assist the Community team members with event planning and execution
- Manage Angel City donation requests and fulfillment.
- Manage community merchandise and giveaway item ordering and fulfillment.
- In collaboration with the Community Impact team, support the management of Angel City program and volunteer events.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure all Community events are included and details up to date on the website and app.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Understanding of soccer supporter culture
- Excellent communication, written, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work all home match days and non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to set up game-day activations, which often requires carrying moderate-sized materials or boxes; employee must be able to work in outdoor conditions and lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Knowledge of Google Suite, Zoom, and Asana is a bonus
- Personable, proactive, creative, and innovative team player who believes in the mission and values of Angel City FC and the NWSL preferred
- Bilingual with fluency in Spanish, Korean, or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred

Compensation:
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $23 - $25 per hour.
