Barista
The Barista position is responsible for serving customers The Lift Café and maintaining excellent customer service. This includes preparing coffee, tea, pre-made food items, using a Point-of-Sale system, providing resort information to customers, greeting guests, maintaining a clean work space, and overall providing customers with a positive and efficient coffee shop experience. We are looking for applicants with attention to detail, who can provide excellent customer service at all times, multitask, and who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Base Pay: $14 / Hour based on Experience

Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Work Environment: This is an indoor position. Must be able to stand and talk for entire shift and occasionally lift/carry 35 pounds.
Minimum Age: 18
Estimated start date: Variety of start dates available from now through the upcoming season.
Qualifications: At least one year of strong barista and cash handling experience necessary.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follows operational policies and procedures for cash handling
- Operate POS System
- Anticipates customer and café needs by constantly evaluating environment and guests for cues
- Contributes to positive team environment
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Greets every guest
Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request. Employee housing is “dorm-style” and starts at $450/month. A list of local rental resources is available upon request.
