Position Summary
The Slot Performance Manager is responsible for optimizing the gaming floor’s performance through effective team building, management, and leadership. This role requires strong project management skills and expertise in slot analytics to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with gaming regulations, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze slot performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Optimize floor layout, game mix, and machine placement.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and events to boost slot play.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Work with the Director of Gaming on revenue forecasts, capital strategy, and budget management.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years in casino operations with a focus on slot performance.
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Tableau, or similar tools)
• Leadership experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of slot machine mechanics, game math, and player behavior.
• Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance.
Preferred
• Experience with slot systems (Bally/L&W, IGT, Aristocrat).
• CAD experience
• Proven track record of increasing slot revenue.
• Advanced degree in Business related field.
• Experience in high-volume and/or tribal casino environments.
• Familiarity with data tools (SQL, VBA, SPSS) and predictive statistical models.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and the State of Washington.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75-85 pounds. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, frequent bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis.
