Childcare Floater

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated childcare provider to join our team part time Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education or related fields. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.

Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for ages 2 months - 12 years
• Foster positive relationships with children by encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that is conducive to learning and play.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nannying, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of child development stages and the ability to educate children accordingly.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Work Location: In person
