Job Summary
The Event Assistant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees, vendors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about delivering successful events.
Key Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination
- Assist in developing event timelines, schedules, and checklists.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Source and liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

Administrative Support
- Maintain event documentation, including contracts, budgets, and reports.
- Manage registration lists, RSVPs, and guest communications.
- Prepare materials such as name tags, agendas, and promotional items.

On-Site Event Execution
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a point of contact for attendees, vendors, and staff.
- Ensure smooth event flow and promptly resolve any issues.

Post-Event Activities
- Assist in gathering attendee feedback and evaluating event success.
- Process invoices, reimbursements, and expense reports.
- Support post-event debriefs and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).
