What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDPAP Coordinator (Contract to Hire) position at Angels In Your Home?
Angels In Your Home is currently seeking a skilled and experienced CDPAP Coordinator to join our team. The CDPAP Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) services for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and eligibility screening for potential CDPAP clients
- Complete intakes for consumers via DocuSign
- Coordinate and oversee the hiring process for personal assistants (PAs) for clients including gathering required pre-employment medical documents and completing their electronic onboarding packet
- Train PA's on the EVV process using HHA Exchange
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client and PA records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing CDPAP services
- Manage incoming referrals and authorizations and enter into HHA Exchange
- Ensure all authorizations and documentation required for billing claims are collected and completed
- Monitor Personal Assistants (PA's) dashboard daily in HHA Exchange in order to process payroll
- Field incoming calls from consumers and PA's regarding payroll and timecard issues, paystubs, and other miscellaneous calls.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or social services setting, preferably in a CDPAP program
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social work, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of CDPAP regulations and policies
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
