Position Summary:
The Recruitment Specialist will use a variety of tools and resources to find suitable candidates, track their progress with our applicant tracking system (Paycor), and assist with onboarding management.

Essential Functions:
Recruiting
- Responsible for the recruitment process which includes:
- Draft job descriptions and post openings per staffing requests (using Paycor, job sites, social media)
- Utilize Paycor Recruiting tools to screen, track and communicate efficiently and effectively with applicants
- Interview job applicants and coordinate next level interviews when necessary
- Conduct background and reference checks
- Coordinate job offers with the Human Resources Director
- Onboard and orient new hires on company policies, benefits, parameters of the job, company culture and mission, etc.
- Report on recruiting metrics and weekly hiring/training status
- Work closely with hiring managers to keep abreast of their recruitment needs
- Participate in job fairs and other recruitment outreach activities

Skills:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience:
- Experience with the developmentally disabled/behaviorally challenged is a plus.
- Three to five years recruiting and/or HR experience. Familiarity with employment and labor laws is a plus.
- A strong working knowledge and understanding of computer use, including Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel and calendar applications are required.

- Must pass a physical and drug screen.
- Must pass criminal background checks and fingerprinting
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license.
- Must have and maintain a responsible driving record and provide a copy upon hire.
- Must agree to comply with all Angels’ Place policies and procedures located in the Employee Handbook, Operations Manual and those required by state licensing agencies, County Community Mental Health agencies, Offices of Recipient Rights and other applicable regulatory agencies.
Work Environment
Pay range: $24-24.50 per hour
Full time, in person at our offices in Southfield (near Northwestern Hwy. and Franklin Rd.), M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
