What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Angler Pub?
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking and dinning experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. We have a small but tasty pub menu that the bartender is responsible for cooking. (air fryers and a griddle)
Compensation includes tipped server salary and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve bar food and drinks
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present drink special for the day along with writing on our daily sayings board
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Cleaning of bar surfaces during your shift and cleaning of entire bar on closing shift including but not limited to sweeping vacumming mopping and dishes.
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Vermont Bartending Certification (current)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
