We need a Sales/Administrative Assistant at our Shepherdsville location. Here is what you need to know:
Experience/Skills: We are looking for someone who is good enough to be our sales manager or office manager but just doesn’t have the time or experience to do so yet. We need someone who loves helping people, who is organized, and who can multi-task to add to our stellar team line- up! We offer a fantastic work environment, that is a perfect mixture of being laid back but busy all at the same time. It will not be boring here at Anglers Outpost and Marine!
Some highlights for Sales/Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities are:
1. We will expect you to put in a hard working 8 hour day Monday through Friday. No weekends!
2. We sell A LOT of boats and our salesman need help!
We need you to be there to assist our salesman with signing paperwork with customers, corresponding with our finance company regarding boat deals, and packaging up sales deal to send out for title work.
4. We have A LOT of customers. They call for many reasons, some need parts, some need service, and a host of other questions.
Our Office Manager needs help. He needs help answering the phone, keeping up with messages, returning phone calls to customers, running general errands, keeping up with bills, checking people out at the cash register, and keeping the store clean and orderly.
5. Would you like to be in the middle of the action but not have to worry about being the boss? If so this job is for you.
You will be the right hand for our salesman and manager. You will be a huge member of the team that is involved in everything from the excitement of sales to the everyday “to-do” list of the office. But the pressure to figure out what we need to accomplish will be on them, not you. You will be there to assist our salesman and manager to hit sales goals and service goals.
6. If you are anti-computer this job is not for you. This position requires someone to learn and use our Dealer Management Software program, Microsoft Excel to handle all our sales agreements, and our website for posting boats and information online.
7. Lastly, we need a true professional who will show our customers the appreciation and effort they deserve. Our customers spend a lot of money with us, and we need to make sure they are treated with a high level of customer service.
