What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brewing - Seasonal Hiring Event position at Anheuser-Busch?
Our Supply group is responsible for brewing, packaging and shipping the famous Budweiser beer. They also oversee aluminum can manufacturing, barley fields, hop farms and a rice mill. Life in the brewery is non-stop action with high-speed lines, tight production schedules and astonishingly high-quality standards. This is a place where we measure efficiency in seconds, not hours, days or weeks. Paramount in all of this is a dedication to safety above all else and social responsibility. 99.8% of everything that enters our breweries is either completely used in the process or recycled. We also dedicate those big, high-speed lines to help our communities during times of disaster by packaging cans of emergency drinking water. Our customers expect the best and the Supply team provides it.
Job Description:
- Monitor and operate high speed production equipment and/or complex brewing systems
- Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Conduct process quality control checks
- Clean work areas or other areas of the facility in order to maintain strict food plant sanitation standards.
- Maintain production safety and quality requirements.
- Shift Schedule: Must be available to work all shifts on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, for 5-7 days per week. Shifts are as follows:
- Midnights – 11PM to 7AM
- Days – 7AM to 3PM (For training only)
- Afternoons – 3PM to 11PM
- Some shifts may be up to 12 hours per day.
- Seasonal employees are not eligible for any benefits unless they qualify under the terms of the plan 401(K).
- Seasonal employees are not guaranteed 40 hours of work per week, every week. However, some seasonals may be scheduled up to 7 days per week, depending on business need.
- Unionized workforce.
- Pay rate is $18.50 per hour
Seasonal employees are limited to working hours during the period of May 1st through September 30th with the exception of training, which may start on April 1st.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
- Computer proficient.
- Must be able to continuously stand, bend, twist and lift items up to 75 pounds.
- Highly motivated, self-directed worker that is able to work by themselves in a fast pace and often loud production environment, but also can work in a team.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

- Must be able to work varying shifts on weekends and/or holidays (days, afternoons, and midnights)
- Must be able and willing to work up to 12-hour days
- Able to be flexible with training Monday through Friday, with flexibility to be scheduled on a variable schedule that includes the weekends.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including a background check, drug test, and driving history check.
- Manufacturing experience preferred

Our main plant entrance is located at the intersection of Busch Blvd. and Schrock Rd.
When you arrive, you will first need to go through our temperature screening area in security. Press the intercom to notify Security of your name, and that you are here for Blitz. By entering you are acknowledging that you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, muscle pain, or loss of taste and smell. Security will take your temperature. You need to wear a face mask when you first arrive on property. Please allow an extra 10 minutes for this process.
The gate arm will lift, and you will proceed straight to the admin parking lot. After you have parked, proceed to the admin building where someone from our team will meet you at the entrance.

- Masks are required to be worn at all times while in the facility. Disposable face coverings will be available on-site
