St. Louis Metro On-Board Transit Travel Survey

Job Title: Field Interviewer - St. Louis Metro

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (Mon-Thu)

Location: Report to various transit centers/ rail stations including but not limited to the downtown Civic Center Station which can be accessed by bus and Red and Blue line rail as free parking is not available.

Pay: $20 per hour.

Start Date: Training on Tuesday, April 8th (Mandatory)

Project Duration: Approximately 2 months (April 8 – June 8)

Shift: Need for PM, 2pm- 10:30pm*

Job Description:

We are hiring Field Interviewers for St. Louis. Interviewers will be reporting to their assigned report locations in St. Louis and surrounding areas. Interviewers will board their assigned bus or rail vehicle and approach passengers in order to get the passengers to take part in a 5-6-minute survey in which the surveyor will be asking the passenger all questions and entering each question into the tablet program correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report 15 minutes prior to assigned bus/rail departure time.
• Check in (clock in) with the supervisor.
• Receive a tablet which will be used to conduct surveys on and receive an assignment sheet and instructions.
• Accurately record and report collected data, interviewers are required to get minimum 4 complete and accurate surveys per hour.

Requirements:

Ability to work Monday through Thursday for the duration of the project✅ Comfortable working with the public, standing for long periods✅ Strong interpersonal skills & attention to detail✅ Must attend a mandatory paid training on April 8 ✅Encourage Bilingual (English/Spanish) to apply

Schedule & Compensation:

• $20/hour
• Monday- Thursday
• Work up to 32 hours per week
