Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and treatments
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures and treatments
- Provide basic animal care such as feeding, walking, and administering medications
- Clean and sanitize exam rooms, waiting areas, and other areas of the clinic
- Handle financial transactions including processing payments and managing invoices
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and medications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and staff
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and proper animal restraint methods
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment used in a veterinary clinic
