Our veterinary assistant post is a key position on our team, who helps maintain a clean and pleasant environment for our patients and their owners. No experience is required if you are a happy People and Pet person who likes to be busy! We will train you and you’ll learn while you work! This is a great opportunity for the right person with possibility for advancement.
This position has a number of responsibilities including but not limited to keeping the facility and property looking its best, taking care of our pet guests, interacting with our pet owning clients, and assisting other team members with animal care. At times these duties (and more) will need to be handled at a fast pace and completed properly and efficiently. Multi-tasking, good organizational skills and remaining calm under pressure with a pleasant, friendly, outgoing attitude are must haves for applicants.
Applicants must have a willingness and eagerness to help in anyway, and to learn with a positive “can do” attitude. They must also be in good physical condition with good flexibility. This is an entry level position. No experience needed but is a plus. We wil train you. Must have the goal of entering the veterinary profession with enthusiasm. Must have the desire to support the daily functions of our Animal Hospital.
