Our Client Service Call Center is on the lookout for a friendly, dedicated, hardworking, punctual and compassionate team player to join our team. This position will require an ability to work independently, and with a team as a Client Service Specialist.

Animal Medical Center (AMC) is the oldest veterinary clinic in Hattiesburg, serving the community since the 1950’s! AMC has provided extended weekday emergency hours and 24-hour weekend care for over 22 years! With a team of 11 veterinarians, Animal Medical Center has the staff and facilities to provide everything from routine exams to intricate surgeries. Our center has capabilities such as ultrasound, CT, digital radiographs, surgical laser, oxygen cages, ventilators, a full diagnostic laboratory, and more. We offer services from preventative and maintenance care to special services like ICU care, laparoscopic, neurologic, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and oncological surgeries.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provide concise, friendly service through outbound calls on behalf of Animal Medical Center
- Effective communication (written and verbal) with strong closing skills
- Educate clients on patient preventative care including vaccines, lab testing and dentistry
- Schedule veterinary appointments using Cornerstone veterinary software
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Work independently in a friendly and supportive environment
- Provide excellent client service and telephone etiquette
- Answer and facilitate clinic phone calls to serve the client efficiently and effectively
- Other duties and projects as assigned
About You:
- Client Service Specialist play an integral role in our hospital by providing effective communication and service to our clients and patents through important veterinary care reminders
- Must have a high school diploma
- Minimum of 1 plus years in call center or reception work in a veterinary practice
- Professional work-ethic, accurate, and detailed multi-tasker
- Great time management, problem solving skills, ability to overcome objections, and able to adapt to a changing environment

Preferred Experience:
- Veterinary or healthcare
- Cornerstone veterinary software
- Must be able to work at computer for long periods of time, including using the keyboard and mouse
- Must be comfortable speaking with people on the telephone, answering calls, and juggling multiple phone lines
Anticipated Schedule:
- Full time position: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday/40 hrs per week

Compensation: We believe that each team member should be compensated considering their knowledge, skills, and experiences. We expect the range for an experienced call center team member to be $11-13 per hour.
