Job Responsibilities: Maintaining a clean, comfortable place for patients to board or be hospitalized, feeding, walking, bathing animals, and handling them safely. You will be responsible for making note of inventory, and assisting the Doctor or Veterinary Assistants when needed. You will be taught many skills, including administering oral medications, and feeding pets appropriately to name a few.
Schedule will include mornings and afternoons as well as EVERY THIRD weekend, with at least one weekday off each week.
Required Experience or Education: Previous experience always helps, but is not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum education needed. The ability to read and follow directions is essential. There is a pre-employment test that you must pass to qualify for an interview.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
