Located 15 minutes north of the Mario Cuomo Bridge, Animal Medical of New City proudly serves the New City, New York community. With being a one-hour drive north of New York, you have easy access to the city while living in a quiet, charming village setting.

Animal Medical of New City is an AAHA accredited full service companion animal hospital. What You’ll Be Working On
- Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries
- Schedule appointments and setup new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow
- Able to convert cold calls and warm leads into new client visits
- Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client medical records
- Exhibit attentiveness, patience, and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states
- Assist in cleaning the clinic, which includes ensuring the reception area is stocked, clean and welcoming
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year working in a customer service role required
- Prior experience in the veterinary industry preferred
- Working knowledge of standard industry terminology and pet care products
- Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, with a passion for animals and providing great customer service
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
